Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Jesus is the Son of God; fully God and fully man. He is our only Hope, in life and in death. He is the Savior of the world. He is the Lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world. He now reigns in heaven, exalted above every other name. His worth is immeasurable.
Jesus has made the way to eternal rescue wide open to anyone and everyone who will repent of their sins, trust in Him, and follow Him. Only Jesus’ blood and righteousness can save us from the eternal punishment our sins deserve.
WHY DOES HOPE FAMILY CHURCH EXIST?
We exist to glorify God by pursuing expanding joy in God for all people through Jesus Christ.
This means our deepest joy is God Himself. Jesus died in our place to bring us to God, and in His presence alone is fullness of joy and eternal pleasures! He is our “exceeding Joy.”
We trust our joy in God will expand as we pursue:
- Joy in One Another – We believe our joy in God expands as we pursue joy in one another—each of us a sinner saved by grace. We want to be able to say of one another, “As for the saints… they are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight!”
- Joy in Bringing – We believe our joy in God expands as, by the grace and power of God, we bring others into His kingdom. We want to be bold in sharing the best news there is!
- Joy in Sending – We believe our joy in God expands as we train and send people into His harvest, both globally and locally. That includes missionaries being sent to foreign lands, and us being sent into our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods—and into other neighborhoods to plant more churches.
Also, we want to be faithful in “holding the rope” for those who have been sent farther afield—through frequent prayer, encouragement, and generous, joyful giving.
We have 3 Core Values:

- Dependence on the Holy Spirit
- Pleasure in Prayer
The early church was on fire for Jesus. They loved the Word of God (the Bible). They devoted themselves to prayer—and they loved doing so!
Likewise, by the grace of God, we want to pursue joy in God by means of the Word of God, by being filled with the Spirit of God, and by prayer.
